Did you know that the most popular category of goods in our freight transport is furniture? It accounts for 33% of the total transported cargo! Of this, 83% is imports, and 17% is exports. We primarily import furniture from Lithuania (22%) and Poland (20%) and also ensure furniture deliveries from almost all of Europe – Germany, Italy, the Czech Republic, Belgium, the Netherlands, Spain, Estonia, and other countries!
It is worth noting that the shipment’s starting point does not always match the place of production. However, in 95% of cases, loading takes place directly at the manufacturer’s site. This means that we have an excellent understanding of the specifics of such shipments, as we work directly with the manufacturers!
The leading destinations for furniture exports in our transport operations are the Baltic countries – Lithuania and Estonia, which together make up 40% of total deliveries. We also export to other European countries, including Poland, Germany, Sweden, Finland, Italy, the Netherlands, Norway, Switzerland, Belgium, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Spain, and France.
21% of imported furniture is delivered directly to our customers’ clients or via our warehouse. This means we provide a full supply chain from A to Z without requiring our clients to allocate their own resources!
As we are offering full-service warehouse solutions this year, especially for furniture retailers, we expect this figure to continue growing!
